Sundays & Holy Days of Obligation
12:00 pm High Mass

St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Powell offers a traditional Latin sung Mass (Missa cantata) at noon every Sunday, with music provided by the Annunciation Choir (for recordings, go here). The Rosary begins at 11:30 a.m. Please consult our calendar for any updates or cancellations.

On the third Sunday of the month, a potluck luncheon is served after Mass.  Visitors are encouraged to join us and are not obliged to bring a dish. This luncheon is usually served in Carroll Hall, directly behind and attached to the church. In June, July and August, this potluck may be moved to a nearby park. Please ask a regular parishioner for details on your arrival.

St. Barbara’s is located in the Big Horn Basin, which is home to Yellowstone Park’s east entrance, the beginning of the Chief Joseph Highway, the Pryor Mountain Mustang Center, Devil’s Canyon National Park, Thermopolis Hot Springs, and other attractions.
