  1. Wonderful story, great graphics, a very effective way to tell a compelling and personal tale. Thanks Eda and WyoFile.

  2. Definetly need to follow your plans if you plan on having a child. The old saying ( If you fail to plan then plan to fail ) is as good advice as any. Those 9 months of pregnancy give great opportunity to save up money for a possible rental closer to Dr. if issue is living remote as just an example

  3. Not just birthing to worry about in Dubois. I know . I lived in a cabin i had for 28 years, 22 miles West of town for one year plus and many months at a time before that. We took a first aid class and there was a volunteer EMT squad but when my partner had a racing heart episode after chainsawing and drinking a martini he took a pill the doctor gave him and i held his hand. The clinic there gave me the wrong med for a urinary tract infection without doing a test. A friend who had a stroke while visiting Arizona said he would have been dead if it happened in Dubois ( you have thirty minutes to get to a hospital. ) i still miss the beautiful environment but …sometimes it was even impossible to get out our dirt road much less anywhere else.
